Matt found the love of his life. Unfortunately, on his birthday, he finds her in bed with someone else. What follows is a downward spiral that doesn’t only bring him in touch with his inner self but also makes him realize what this 'real love', was actually worth to him.

At BUT film festival romantic comedies are extremely scarce, with good reason as these movies often lack the specific 'BUT qualities' on which we select. This dark comedy shows us that our festival does not only have to be guts and gore. The art to create great effect by little means is a true gift, a characteristic we endear and according to our standards 'Matt's Chance' definitely qualifies for BUTFF!
