My sculptural works investigates time and space. A frozen movement, more or less bound or expanding, underlining and testing the balance of unstructured structure. The sculptures strive to extend, take and enlarge the space, as a specific moment in endless time, movement and change. This moment is settled between order and chaos, between stability and fragility.
Until now, I have mainly worked with wood. The cleavages of wooden pieces are carefully done, but can never be completely controlled. Thus the working process is part of the contrast of intention and coincidence. Every single part of my scupltures is unique, no repition ever is possible. By this, the uniqueness of the moment is captured.
